Job Description:
Our client develops software that makes it easy for builders to capture, visualize, and understand their job sites. We’re seeking a talented and enthusiastic engineer to join our fun and super-productive mobile team. You’ll build never-before-seen features and functionality to help propel our industry-leading product to even greater heights. You’ll be involved in all phases of the development process and have an opportunity to contribute your product ideas. We’re seeking experienced mobile software engineers to join us!
Responsibilities:
- Iteratively prototype and develop new mobile features
- Work extensively with React Native in TypeScript and occasionally native iOS and Android code
- Write code to interface with 360-degree cameras
- Help design new APIs in collaboration with our backend team
- Build infrastructure components
- Work with and extend our reality capture and 3D model components
- Improve our architecture and refactor to reduce tech debt
- Instrument our app to track success metrics
- Help troubleshoot production bugs and customer issues
- Participate in collaborative product and technical design sessions
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal English proficiency
- Ability to execute on English instructions effectively and troubleshoot when necessary
- 5+ years of mobile software development experience
- 4+ years of experience with TypeScript
- 4+ years of experience with React Native
- 2+ years of full stack engineering experience
- Experience with design systems and mobile-first design
- Ability to flexibly adapt over the course of iterations as new insights emerge
- Ability to work analytically, and manage competing priorities in a high-growth environment
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UX designers
- A proactive approach to problem identification and independently developing/proposing remediation solutions and improvements
- Dynamic learning and growth mindset
- Ability to self-check work
- Worked with remote teams in the past and enjoy contributing to a remote-first culture
- Experience with device control (ex: 360 degree cameras) is a bonus!
- Experience with 3D systems is a bonus!
